I am putting out the word that our next team into New Orleans (or NOLA, for short) is a little short-handed, which makes a great opening for an acupuncturist who could clear time from October 25th to November 5th.
We are encouraging someone's spontaneous spirit to come forth and volunteer right now.People in NOLA are still in great need, and it is a wonderful time to participate. Our venues are shifting a lot, moving toward serving community-based organizations and treatment centers as the healing process continues.
We are also serving several groups of firefighters, police and military personnel who are so thankful for the improvement in their sense of well-being with this profoundly simple 5 needle treatment in each ear (plus a little massage to bring those muscles into a more relaxed state). Volunteers need to provide their own way there, pay or most of their food expenses. AWB provides the lodging through a generous donation of hotel rooms.
We can also help with suggestions for raising money to meet your expenses. Other incentives - the weather in NOLA has cooled a bit, the music is flowing a bit better, and you can be assured of a transformative experience.I look forward to hearing from you.
